AMARI

Amaro is the Italian word meaning “bitter” & describes a family of herbal liqueurs commonly enjoyed as digestifs

Campari -7
Orange and grapefruit aromas with the palate starting off sweet and transitioning to bitter. Try as an aperitif to awaken the palatte.

Aperol – 7
Campari’s nicer, prettier cousin will brighten your day with tangerine zest layered atop spicy herbal notes.  Wonderful way to start a meal.

Cynar – 8
Although made from artichokes, it smells and tastes like buttery honey, with prevalent tobacco notes and an astringent, herbal finish

Amaro Nonino – 9
This grappa based amaro is infused with saffron, rhubarb, bitter orange and tamarind 

Amaro Montenegro – 8
Bitter, sweet, and citrusy.  Notes of orange, nutmeg, cinnamon, coriander, and oregano

“Rucolino” Amaro alla Rucola – 9
Expressive and lively, with notes of citrus, dark chocolate and cedar

Amaro  Averna – 8
Bittersweet, with a generous mouthfeel.  Hints of orange and liquorice, balanced with notes of myrtle, juniper, rosemary, and sage

Amaro Lucano – 9
This sweet and herbal amaro has notes of pine, lavender and cardamom

Fernet Branca – 8
AKA “The Bartender’s Mouthwash” Dry, bitter and complex with aromas of eucalyptus and menthol
